"Afghanistan Unveiled" Showing at Lilly Library on Monday, 5 September

At 8:30pm on Monday, 5 September 2005, in Lilly Library's Thomas Room, the documentary film, Afghanistan Unveiled, will be screened with a discussion following. The 53-minute documentary is the first film about Afghan women by Afghan women in the post-Taliban era. This event is sponsored by the Baldwin Scholars Program, the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture, and the Duke University Libraries in conjunction with the summer reading of The Kite Runner.
