When the Bostock Library and von der
Heyden Pavilion open on October 12, the first floor of
Perkins--only the carpeted area behind the security gate--will
close for renovation. Beginning October 12, you will find Reference
and Research Assistance, Circulation, Reserves, and Interlibrary
Loan on the first floor of Bostock. Also on October 12, the main
library entrance moves to Bostock--under the new gateway near the
rear of Old Chem. It will still be possible to enter Perkins from
the quad for access to the von der Heyden Pavilion, the Biddle Rare
Book Room, the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections
Library and other rooms and offices in that wing of Perkins. Access
to the Perkins stacks, University Archives, Library Human
Resources, the Center for Instructional Technology and other
Perkins departments will now be through Bostock. For more
information, please ask at the Reference and Research Assistance
desk on the first floor of Bostock, call 660-5880, or send a
