Beginning Wednesday, 12 October 2005, the Perk will officially reopen with limited service in the von der Heyden Pavilion at Perkins Library. Complimentary, self-service coffee and tea will be available throughout the day. The Perk's new vendor, the Mad Hatter's Cafe and Bake Shop, is expected to officially open for business on 1 November.
