Screening and discussion of two silent films: the newly discovered
The Curse of the Quon Dong (1917) and amateur Glenn Kiner's
Shanghai, 1928, a preservation print with both black-and-white and
color segments. The screening is one of the highlights of the 13-14
January "Lookalikeness Conference," which is sponsored by the
Program in Literature, the Program in Film/Video/Digital, and the
Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library.
