Library Staff Begins 17th Year with Adopt-A-Highway Program

January 2006 marks the beginning of the 17th year that members of the Duke library staff have participated in North Carolina's Adopt-A-Highway program, meeting one Saturday morning a month to pick up trash along a section of Morreene Road near the Duke campus. Reference librarian Joline Ezzell has coordinated the program for the Duke Libraries Staff Association since the beginning of the library's involvement. The crew of volunteers gets together early and finishes with breakfast after they have completed their work.
