A panel discussion and celebration of the publication of Barbara Hernstein Smith's new study, sponsored by the Franklin Humanities Institute with support from the Duke University Libraries. Panelists: Barbara Herrnstein Smith, Braxton Craven Professor, Comparative Literature and English; Robert Brandon, Professor of Philosophy; Robert Mitchell, Assistant Professor of English; E. Roy Weintraub, Professor of Economics.

A reception will follow the panel discussion, and copies of Scandalous Knowledge will be available for sale and signing.

Free and open to the public. Students and classes welcome.
