Reynolds Price reads the Gospel of Mark

On Monday, 10 April 2006, at 7:30pm in the Rare Book Room at Perkins Library, James B. Duke Professor of English Reynolds Price will read his translation of the Gospel of Mark from his book, Three Gospels. In a 30 June 1996 review of the book in the Los Angeles Times Book Review, Christopher Tilghman describes Three Gospels as a "...splendid and exhilarating new exploration of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ." Sponsored by the Duke University Libraries, the event is open to everyone.
