Untangling Immigration Issues

Noah Pickus, interim director of Duke's Kenan Institute for Ethics, to speak about the immigration debate

On Tuesday, 19 September, at 7:30pm in the Rare Book Room at Duke's Perkins Library, Noah Pickus will sort out the competing concerns in the current debate over immigration and highlight new ways of dealing with those concerns.  Noah Pickus is the author of True Faith and Allegiance: Immigration and American Civic Nationalism.  The program is open to everyone.  Parking on the quad in front of the Duke Chapel has been reserved for the event.  Mention the "library event" to the attendant.  Noah Pickus's talk is part of the Engaging Faculty Series, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Duke University Libraries.
