Martha Hodes will discuss her recently published book, much of which is based on research she did in the Lois Wright Richardson Davis Papers, held by Duke's Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library.  This event is co-sponsored by the library's Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture with the Department of History, the African & African American Studies Program, the Program in Women's Studies and the Institute for Critical U.S. Studies.
