Join in a lunch-time discussion of The Last Shot, the 2007 "Durham Reads Together" selection, at 12:30pm on Thursday, 3 May, in the Rare Book Room at Perkins Library.  Bring your lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. The Last Shot by journalist Darcy Frey is the true story of four student athletes at a Coney Island high school.  The book has been described as "...a book about courage and character, dreams and consequences, economics and education that also happens to be about basketball."   Copies of The Last Shot are available at the Gothic Bookshop.
