On Monday, 13 August, Duke implemented a new ePrint policy to encourage conservation of paper and other resources. This is how it works: All full-time Duke students will be able to print 3600 pages a semester at no charge. This is based on a $.01 cost for a double-sided page; all ePrinters will now duplex by default. Students who need to print more than 3600 pages during the semester will be able to purchase additional printing credits on their DukeCards. Faculty and staff will continue to have unlimited free printing.
Guests to the Duke Libraries can purchase a joint photocopy/print card that will allow them to use the ePrint system. For assistance, see the public service desk at any campus library.
