Within the next day or so (Jan. 31-Feb.2), workers will begin demolition of the wall covering an air duct in an interior stairwell on the northeast side (facing Bostock) of Perkins.  The demolition will continue for one to two weeks.  Expect intermittent loud noise in the immediate area on Perkins floors 2, 3, and 4, with some reverberation throughout the building.
