Summer Reading for the Class of 2013

You are invited to nominate a book for next year's incoming freshmen to read and discuss.  These are the books that the last four freshman classes have read:

2012 Dave Eggers, What is the What
2011 Osha Gray Davidson, The Best of Enemies
2010 Jodi Picoult, My Sister's Keeper
2009 Khaled Hosseini, The Kite Runner

The selection committee will choose a book for the Class of 2013 based on the following criteria:

• Prompts stimulating debate and lively discussion
• Resonates with incoming students
• Stimulates deep thought and personal transformation
• Enriches the intellectual life of students

The selection committee reads and considers all books that are nominated and does not consider any book that is not nominated. So, make a suggestion!  Make a nomination online at <http://nsfp.studentaffairs.duke.edu/> any time before December 3rd.
