New Libraries' search interface now live

Duke University Libraries has launched the beta version of a new catalog interface. The new interface offers numerous enhancements, including faceted browsing navigation similar to that found at retail sites like Amazon and Home Depot. You can still search Duke's "classic catalog," but we encourage you to try the new interface at http://find.library.duke.edu.

Things to keep in mind as you use the new interface:

When you search the tabbed forms in "Search Our Resources", results will display in the new interface with the exception of GoogleScholar and E-Journals. The latter will continue to load in Resource Finder due to system limitations.

All links to library.duke.edu/catalog (the classic catalog) will be redirected to the new interface, but catalog.library.duke.edu will continue to display the classic search screen.

By Friday, 11 July, there will be a link from new catalog interface to a comments/suggestions form. Use the form to let us know what you think of the interface.
