What does it mean to be an educated woman?

The combination of research, teaching and activism that Jane Addams embodied more than a century ago is at the heart of contemporary women's studies. Lisa Yun Lee (Ph.D. '99) will explore the parallels between her studies as a feminist scholar at Duke and her work as the director of Chicago's Jane Addams Hull-House Museum This program is part of a symposium on women and education honoring the career of Dr. Jean O'Barr.
