The Sierra Leone Educational Enrichment Project at Duke (SLEEP at Duke) is a student group committed to increasing the educational resources of the students of Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world and one recently ravaged by a civil war. SLEEP collects book donations from the Duke community and sends them to students in Sierra Leone.
You can help by leaving books you no longer need in the collection boxes near the Circulation Desk at Perkins Library. The boxes will be at Perkins through Wednesday, December 16.
