Everyone is invited to an evening of readings (in English) selected from Gogol's writings by some of his biggest fans, including: Edna Andrews, "Old-World Landowners"; Charlie Becker (Economics), selections from "Diary of a Madman"; Christopher Putney (Slavic Languages/UNC-CH), the first chapter of "The Tale of the Two Ivans"; Beth Holmgren, "Nose"; Aura Young, "Vii"; and a staged reading of an excerpt from The Inspector General by Duke students Erik Anderson, Ben Bergman, and Matthew Patrick.  Wednesday, 1 April, 7:30pm, Perkins Biddle Rare Book.  Sponsored by the Duke University Libraries
