Happy Birthday, E.A. Poe!

You’re invited to the Poe Party, a celebration of the 200th anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe's birth on 19 January 1809. Faculty and students will read Poe favorites: Michael Bergen T'10, "The Oval Portrait"; Jennifer Brody, "Annabel Lee"; Ariel Dorfman, "The Cask of Amontillado"; Carolyn McDaniel T'09, "The Masque of the Red Death"; Steve Nowicki, "The Raven"; and Reynolds Price, "The Tell-Tale Heart." Everyone is welcome! Birthday treats following the program, which begins at 4pm, on Friday, 30 January, at Perkins Library in the Biddle Rare Book Room.
