Hunger Doesn't Take a Vacation

Join the Libraries in supporting “Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation,” a food drive sponsored by the Duke University Police Department in coordination with the Durham Victim Services and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.  Drop off donations at the Perkins circulation desk through 30 July.  The greatest need is for rice, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, canned meals (stew, soup, ravioli, etc.), peanut butter, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), personal hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, shaving cream, etc.), diapers, nutritional drinks (Ensure, etc.), infant formula (however, NO loose glass and plastic jars of baby food per health regulations).  Please—no glass!
