Based in Santiago, Chile, Alberto Fuguet is the author of books that include Mala Onda, Las películas de mi vida, Cortos, and the up-coming Missing: una investigación. He also compiled the autobiography of Colombia’s main literary misfit: Andrés Caicedo. Fuguet's debut feature film was Se arrienda; he is the creator of the digital film page Cinepata.com.  Fuguet's talk is the keynote address for in/disciplining the misfit: a transdisciplinary conference being held at Duke September 11-12.
