Annually, the Duke University Libraries recognize the exceptional work of a Libraries' staff member with the Florence Blakely Award. The Blakely Award highlights extraordinary performance that far exceeds individual goals or expectations.  It is meant to reward an individual who is innovative, benefits the Duke community and effectively promotes access to information.  

You are invited to nominate a member of the Duke Libraries staff for the Blakely Award.  Anyone who works at Perkins, Bostock, Lilly, the Music Library. or the the Biological and Environmental Sciences Library is eligible. The deadline for nominations is 16 February; the award will be presented on 4 March.  Copies of the nomination form are available at library service points around the campus.
