If you loved the movies Spellbound and Akeelah and the Bee, here’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning: Duke's Office of Durham and Regional Affairs invites you to attend the Triangle regional qualifier for the Scripps National Spelling Bee on Saturday, 6 March, from 9am- noon at Page Auditorium.

Come out and cheer on spellers from schools in Durham and Orange counties as they compete in the regional spelling bee.  The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC to compete — on ESPN — in the Scripps National Spelling Bee!
