DukeReads A Brief History of the Human Race

Tuesday, 26 January, 7pm
Blair Sheppard, dean of the Fuqua School of Business, and NPR Host Frank Stasio will discuss A Brief History of the Human Race by Michael Cook. Blair Sheppard explains his choice of Cook's book: "Given our efforts to develop campuses in five locations, I was hoping to find a book that does a really good survey of the evolution of human civilization over time, not to replace a deep consideration of the various countries, but to give a look at the tapestry."
