Stop by the LINK's Mediawall and become a poet! Passage Sets, an interactive poem generator created by Professor of Visual Studies Bill Seaman (and programmed by Todd Berreth), allows users to contribute to a streaming poem by selecting words and phrases that appear based on their proximity to the Mediawall's 48 computer monitors. Move around in front of the Mediawall and the poem changes!
The original version of Passage Sets/One Pulls Pivots at The Tip Of The Tongue premiered in 1995. That version has been shown internationally and is in the permanent collection of the ZKM Museum (Center for Art and Media) in Karlsruhe, Germany.
