Over the next few weeks, the Duke University Libraries will be conducting an online survey and would appreciate your help.
A random sample of Duke faculty and students will receive emails notifying them that they have been selected to participate. The survey process is completely confidential. Your name and email address will not be connected in any way to your response.
Participants will receive an email with the URL for the survey. Most participants will be randomly assigned to a brief survey form which should take fewer than 5 minutes to complete. Some respondents will receive a longer form which takes less than 10 minutes. Your answers will assist the Libraries’ future planning efforts. We sincerely hope you will share your opinions with us.
The survey instrument, LIBQUAL+, was developed by the
Association of Research Libraries (ARL), a group of the top 125 research libraries in the U.S. and Canada. It is based on a survey used in business and industry called ServQual, and is conducted across the country by many of ARL’s members.
For more information about the survey, please visit
our FAQ page. We will share the results on the Libraries’ website in the fall. Thank you in advance for participating!
