Introduction to the Federal collection

Overview

FDLP LogoIn 1890 the United States Senate designated what is now Perkins Library a Federal Depository Library. The Public Documents and Maps collection has now grown to hold U.S. federal materials from the founding of the nation to the present day, totaling over 1 million publications in paper, microfiche and electronic formats.
