Christof Galli, Subject Librarian

227 Bostock | christof.galli@duke.edu | 660-5850

Duke's international documents collection includes documents from international governmental organizations (IGOs) such as the League of Nations, the United Nations, or the European Union. It comprises materials in paper, microform and electronic formats. Publications include legislative and executive documents issued by the organs of the organizations as well as statistical and topical publications. Duke is a depository for European Union documents. See: IGO Home

Duke has also been collecting materials published by non-governmental or Civil Society organizations (NGOs or CSOs). NGOs/CSOs have expanded their activities and concerns into every area of human endeavor. Duke has been acquiring materials from these organizations in the fields of global health, women's issues, sanitation, human rights, economic development, sustainable development, environmental protection, alternative energy production, and many more. In addition, Duke is maintaining a database with links to NGO websites. See: NGO Home
