Bostock Library: Current newspapers are located in the Current Periodicals and Newspapers Section on the first floor. Foreign titles are alphabetized by country and then by title, while the United States newspapers are shelved alphabetically by state and then by title. More information about current newspapers can be found on the Microforms Department website.
Lilly Library: Current newspapers are located in Room 113 on the first floor of Lilly Librray. Lilly has reading copies of a number of popular newspapers.
Newspaper Backfiles
United States Newspapers
United States newspapers are sorted by state and title. Titles for which microfilm subscriptions are received are retained in paper form (in most cases) until the film is received. Those titles not replaced by microfilm are kept for one month (newspapers in Lilly Library are kept for two weeks).
Special Collections also holds many other United States newspapers published before 1870; consult the reference librarians in Special Collections and search the online catalog.
International Newspapers
Foreign newspapers are sorted by country and title,and are retained in paper form for one month.
