Note: Turabian is designed to complement the Chicago Manual of Style but be simpler and easier for undergraduates to use.
Turabian style uses footnotes to cite quotes, paraphrases, etc., within the text of your paper. Footnotes are listed at the bottom of the page, numbered with the numerals written in superscript (11 Twain, Mark). Note that when using footnotes, the first line of the citation is indented 5 spaces. Endnotes are listed at the end of the paper, preceded by a regular typed numeral, followed by a period (1. Twain, Mark). Examples.
How to cite works in the Bibliography at the end of your paper using Turabian:
Turabian style includes a complete list of all works cited in the bibliography at the end of the paper. Each footnote in the text should refer to a work in the bibliography. Each kind of work is cited in its own way; for details, see the Examples.
