Borrowing Reserves

Circulation Policies for Students

The reserves desk is open during library hours to allow access to all materials. Full-time staff are available to accept new reserve items and answer questions from 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.

When requesting reserve items, please be prepared to give the title, author, professor, and course.  For a list of physical items (ie. Books, etc.) on reserve, please click here.  Items are organized alphabetically by professor, then course number, then author and finally, title.

Loan periods for reserve items may be 3 hours, overnight, or 3 days.

Reserves books must be returned on time and may not be renewed. After returning a Reserves book, you must wait one hour before checking it out again.

There is a $1.00 fine per hour on overdue items. Fines begin accruing after an item is 1 hour overdue. LOST RESERVE ITEMS WILL BE BILLED A REPLACEMENT FEE PLUS ACCRUED FINES. Lost items need to be reported as soon as possible.
