The collective title of an incomplete, but continuing, publication. The volumes for each county are separate units and are cataloged as such, but all volumes are shelved together. Each county has a separate index.

The parish histories for each county (to be found under subject headings such as 'Walton-on-the-Hill (Liverpool, England : Parish)--History')  include accounts of many estates and manors and their various owners over the centuries.
