The microforms card catalog, at the rear of the first floor of Bostock Library, provides access to the Parliamentary papers in microprint.

A guide to the Readex microprint edition of British Sessional Papers is offered by a General Index shelved in the Newspapers and Microforms guide area, behind the Bostock help desk, under the call number News/Micro. z328.42 fI68.  The indexes are arranged alphabetically by subject.  Finding information (located at the end of each entry) includes session date of the paper, the number which the paper bears in each session (in parentheses), and the volume and page number of the Sessional Collection (i.e., 1818 (57.)III.99).

At the beginning of index volumes 2-8 is an alphabetical and classified list of the headings in the volume with page references.  Volume 1 is Hansard's Catalogue and Breviate of Parliamentary Papers 1696-1834.  The other seven volumes contain various categories of Parliamentary papers, 1801-1899, ie.e, accounts and papers, bills, reports.

A monthly index on microfiche entitled House of Commons Sessional Papers is shelved in the Newspapers and Microforms guide area under the call numbers S284, S285, S286.  This index is a guide to all House of Commons Parliamentary Papers published during the session.  It is arranged alphabetically by subject and lists in order: Bills, Command Papers and House of Commons Papers.  It dates from 1984 to the present.

A bibliography/handout entitled Parliamentary Papers, Great Britain, is available at the Reference Desk and contains comprehensive library holdings on this subject.
