Chinese Studies

The Chinese collection has two main categaries of census data: Population census (人口普查) and Basic Unit census (基本单位普查). An easy way to find census data is through the Library's online catalog:

1. Perform a 'Subject begins with...' search on 'China Population' or 'China Census' to find most population census data;
2. Perform a "Subject begins with ..." search on 'Danwei' or 'social structure China' and choose 'statistics' to find basic unit census. Click on one of the following links, search and/or ask the librarian:

Basic Units Census 基本单位普查
