The microfilm collection includes the combined titles from the Goldsmiths' Library of Economic Literature at the University of London, and the Kress Library of Business and Economics at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in Boston.

Goldsmiths'-Kress titles can be located in the online catalog and in the microforms card catalog at the rear of the first floor of Bostock Library.  Please note that because this series consists of thousands of reels of microfilm, when searching for a title in the online catalog, you will need to pull up the full record in order to get the Goldsmiths'-Kress paper number, as well as the call number.

Goldsmiths'-Kress Library of Economic Literature; a consolidated Guide to Segement I of the Microfilm Collection can be found in the Newspapers and Microforms guides,  housed behind the Bostock Library help desk, under the call number Newsp./Micro. z 330 G624.  This guide is arranged by year, by subject, and then alphabetically by author or title.  It also serves as a Reel Index in as much as the entries include the number of the item and the number of the microfilm reel on which the title is located.

The microfilm contains a "target" before each title which identifies the item by date, by subject category, by the entry number in the Guide, author, title, and the its catalogue description.  Temporary reel guides (on film), shelved at the beginning of the "N4387" numbers, offer access to the Segment II titles.  Temporary (printed) Guides to the Microfilm Collection, Units 76-82, Serials, are also available in the Reference Collection of the Newspapers and Microforms Department (shelved behind the Bostock Library help desk).
