The Brian Kane Fellowship is a challenging, demanding, and rewarding paid position in Kiyosato, a rural village located in the township of Tukane in the Yatsugatake region of Yamanashi prefecture. This fellowship was established in 1976 by the American Committee for KEEP, Inc., as a volunteer opportunity to serve the needs of KEEP (Kiyosato Educational Experiment Project), a Christian-based community development project.
