Collected by a Meiji novelist, Watanabe Katei, it includes 1159 texts of early modern novels and dramatic works - kana zōshi, ukiyoe zōshi, share-bon, kibyōshi, akahon/kurohon, aohon, jōruri, kabuki and others.
