See the complete list of databases the library subscribes to in other subject areas.  If you know the title of a journal you're looking for, search the title of the journal in the catalog for all locations (print/electronic/microform).  Electronic journals only are listed under E-Journals.

More on Articles & Databases

The primary databases for English literature are the MLA Bibliography and ABELL;  searching these two sources is necessary for finding literary criticism and doing comprehensive literature reviews.

Other databases are useful for different research purposes;  for example, the Literature Resource Center is great for locating information about authors.;  resources like Black Drama and North American Women's Letters and Diaries are wonderful for locating primary source texts;  and Humanities Abstracts is a good starting point for interdisciplinary research questions.  Read the database descriptions on each resource's "More Info" page to find appropriate databases for your needs, or check with me or any Reference Librarian for suggestions.
