Personal Name Index to "The New York Times Index"
vol. 1 (1851)-vol. 25 (1979)

Volume 1 (names with "A") does not include references to 1907, 1908 or 1910, with scattered references to 1905, 1909, 1911 and 1912.  Volumes 2-3 omit 1908 and 1910.  Variations of original spelling are usually unchanged, so use ingenuity with spelling variations and with initials.  The references lead you to the proper page in the yearly Times indexes.
