
SHERA is an association of academics, independent scholars, librarians, museum workers, students, and other individuals who share an interest in the visual and material culture of Russia, the nations of the former Soviet Union, and Central/Eastern Europe. The Society sponsors a number of efforts aimed at improving research circumstances for scholars and fostering contacts among members, including the SHERA Electronic List and a regular panel at the meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies (AAASS). Because the organization is currently undergoing some changes, currently there are no publications associated with SHERA. (More...)
