SciFinder Scholar

It's an easy install... You simply download the installer, run it and then download the site.prf and place it in the SciFinder folder.

That's it. Please try it yourself, then let us know if you need help.

Windows:

To download the Duke-licensed version of SciFinder Scholar for a PC running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista click here. NOTE: install to c:\sfschlr or to the same folder where you have installed previous versions. The installer will ask for a site.prf file. There are two options. You can download the file before starting the install and then point to the downloaded site.prf when asked. Alternatively, answer that you don't have one and follow the instructions below to insert it. If you are upgrading an older installation, you already have the site.prf file. If it is a new installation, you drop the site.prf into the same folder that you specify for the application. Download the site.prf here. If the file displays as text rather than offering to download, right-click the link and select "Save target as..."
