Ciara is your librarian as well as the librarian for Psychology and Neuroscience (P&N) at Duke. She spends time in the P&N department for office hours and at the reference desk in Perkins. She also works with the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences. Needless to say, she likes brains - but not in a zombie kind of way. Prior to earning her library degree from the University of Illinois, she was a philosopher. Her area of expertise was Philosophy of Mind/Consciousness. (You see the brain theme here, right?)
Originally from Miami, FL Ciara has lived in each of the following states twice: Ohio, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina. She enjoys packing and moving. She also enjoys Scrabble, public transportation, NetFlix streaming, roller derby, knitting, yoga, The Sartorialist blog, audiobooks, surf films and making custom MP3 ringtones for every single one of her phone contacts.
Best habit: punctuality. Worst habit: sarcasm.
