<head>Biographical Note</head>

<p>Richard S. Buswell lives in Helena, Montana where he was born and raised. He photographs the remains of human habitation on the abandoned homesteads, farms, and mines that he comes across while hiking the surrounding countryside. His photographs are part of the permanent collection of many museums, including the Smithsonian, Boston's Museum of Fine Art, the Corcoran, George Eastman House, and the Library of Congress. </p>
