<p>Collection contains business letters to lawyer Jason Laurance Fenimore (1769-1869).  Also included are family letters, genealogy, some ephemera, poems, and unidentified volumes.  Topics include business in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, banking, railroads, coal and timber land, mining, and navigation; and farm and family life in Philadelphia and in Burlington, N.J.  There are also some diaries.</p></scopecontent>
