Abstract
The National Press Company was a Chicago-based printing and advertising company active in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The company specialized in promotional materials and printed novelties (such as matchbook covers, calendars and postcards) produced for political figures and small businesses.
The National Press Company Advertising and Promotional Materials Collection includes promotional pamphlets; brochures of available product lines; order forms; and a handbook for salesmen associated with the National Press Company. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.
