		  Jon Laidlaw, Robert Young and others. The collection
		  consists of 7" reel-to-reel audio tapes, audiocassette
		  tapes, VHS tapes, and digital audio tapes of sermons, programs and Lenten meditations delivered in Duke Chapel

         <head>Scope and Content Note</head>
         <p>The collection consists of 7" reel-to-reel audio
		  tapes, audiocassette tapes, VHS tapes and digital audio tapes of sermons, programs and Lenten meditations delivered in Duke Chapel from 1954 to ongoing. A partial list of
		  sermon titles is in Box 1. Two of the sermons (May 4, 1969
		  and March 15, 1970) are "dialogue sermons," entitled "The
		  Identity Crisis of the Church" and "Women's Liberation."
		  The delivery of these sermons involved student
		  participation. </p>
