The Hartman Center welcomes queries from all users, regardless of academic affiliation. If you have a question of a general, historical nature, please consult the reference department of your college or university library or public library. We are able to answer questions related to the holdings of the Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History. Many questions may be answered by consulting the Reference Overview. Due to our small staff and the high volume of questions received, there may be a short delay before you receive a response.
Rubenstein Library Reading Room Updates
The Rubenstein Library is undergoing renovations! We are now in our new temporary location on the 3rd floor of Perkins Library. If you are planning a research visit, you will need to register as a researcher and request your materials online! Please request all materials at least 4 days before you plan to arrive.
Asking a question by phone, mail, or e-mail? Responses to reference inquiries will take more time between January 7, 2013 and February 17th, 2013 while our collections are on the move. Keep up with the latest renovation news by visiting our renovation news website.
Thank you.
