Although Latin America is not one of the major collecting areas in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library, it is one of the major strengths of the Duke University Libraries (see Latin American & Caribbean Studies Guide). In support of research and scholarship in this area we have identified manuscript and rare printed holdings that relate to Latin America. This guide is organized into manuscript and printed resources with the manuscripts subdivided further into material relating to South America, the Caribbean, and Central America.
