Correspondence --Egypt --30 B.C.-640 A.D. Material: 1 item : papyrus, mounted in glass, right part is broken off ; 16 x 24 cm. Note: Actual dimensions of item are 15.9 x 23.7 cm. 7 lines. Written across the fibers on the recto; the address written along the fibers on the verso; between the lines on the front, five lines were written in black ink in modern times. Upper margin of 3 cm.; lower margin of 2 cm.; left margin of 1 cm. P.Duk.inv. 13 was formerly P.Duk.inv. G 13. Official letter from Egypt, written on papyrus. Written by Menas to his "affectionate brother, lord, (and) son" a high official in Alexandria. Concerns the date for the delivery(?) of wheat by Menas' agent, who is to leave the Lord's day and will arrive(?) the day after. Refers to a previous letter to the same effect. In Greek.
