Note: Actual dimensions of item are 8.8 x 19.4 cm. 7 lines. Written along the fibers on the verso; written across the fibers on the recto in a different hand and inverse to the text on the verso. Upper margin of 1 cm.; lower margin of 0.5 cm.; left margin of 0.5 cm.; right margin of 1 cm. P.Duk.inv. 439 V was formerly P.Miss. 5 V. Papyrus letter from Egypt mentioning Eisak, Apa Kyri and Iaanes (Iohannes), who is described as a monk (monachos) possibly from a monastery named after Apa Apollo.
