Here follow all papyri in the Duke collection coming from a notable source (e.g. excavations or mummy cartonnage). Select an item to see images of the papyrus as well as the catalogue record describing the item.

Mummy cartonnage:

This consists of recycled papyri glued together like papier maché and used to cover human mummies or stuff mummies of sacred animals.
